Honey Pear Tea
  • Ingredients
    2 pears, tangerine peel(from 4 tangerines), 10 glasses of water, ginger, honey

  • Directions
    1. Clean pears and cut into pieces
    2. Rinse and dry tangerine peel
    3. Put pear, tangerine and ginger into boiling water over low heat.
    4. Strain boiled water. Serve with honey.
   
Bae-Suk (Boiled pear preserved in honey)
  • Ingredients
    2 pears, 1 tbsp pepper corn, 3 ½ glass of water, 50g ginger, ½ cup sugar(or honey), 1 teaspoon pine nuts

  • Directions
    1. Peel pears and cut into quarters. Scoop out seed part
    2. Put 3~4 pepper corns firmly into each piece
    3. Slice ginger and boil in water. Add sugar and pear pieces and cook. Let it cool.
    4. Remove ginger before serving. Place in a punch bowl and flavor with citron     juice. Garnish with pine nuts
   
Pear Punch
  • Ingredients
    1 pear, 2/3 cup Maximowiczia chinensis fruit, 1 cup honey(or sugar), 10 glasses water, 2 teaspoons pine nuts

  • Directions
    1. Rinse and dry Maximowiczia chinensis fruits
    2. Put the fruits and 3 glasses of water into a bowl. Leave it for one night. Strain     through a sieve and soak out fruit soup.
    3. Make Maximowiczia chinensis soup by adding water to the fruit soup from No.2.
    4. Add honey or sugar to the soup. Keep it cool.
    5. Peel a pear and slice thinly.
    6. Put sliced pear into Maximowiczia chinensis soup. Garnish with pine nuts and serve.
   
Tuna Sauce Steak with Pear
  • Ingredients
    4 beef fillet, 1 canned tuna, 1 tbsp capers, 1 pear, 5 Italian parsley, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, 2 tbsp olive oil, 80~100g hull peas, 2 teaspoon butter, 8 cherry tomatoes, 4 lemon pieces

  • Directions
    1.Peel pear, seed and slice a pear quarter thinly. Drain oil from canned tuna. Clean and trim parsley removing larger stems. Add chopped capers and mix well.

    2. Cut remaining pear into long strips. Shell hull peas, rinse and dry. Roast peas and pear strips with butter. Season with salt and pepper.

    3. Salt and pepper beef fillet, cook over medium heat with olive oil. Place in a serving dish and spread sauce from No.1. Garnish with ingredients from No.2 and cherry tomatoes
